• Aid in supervising the sales, profit margins, expenses, inventory, and overall sales performance of the department.
• Provide training to gas bar clerks on all store responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure familiarity with and adherence to company policies regarding the sale of age-restricted items and all relevant government regulations concerning tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
• Complete all required daily reports, including cash reconciliation and daily cash-up.
• Uphold and implement the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures, while training gas bar clerks accordingly.
• Assist in ensuring that the department displays, stocks, and rotates merchandise in accordance with company standards, focusing on maintaining brand image.
• Conduct minor repairs to assets as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Collaboration:
Reporting to the Team Leader of the C-Store/Gas Bar, you will play a vital role in initiating, developing, and executing strategies and policies to ensure ongoing growth in sales, service, and customer satisfaction. You will help lead a dynamic and enthusiastic team to foster a culture of collaboration.

Ideal Candidate:
You are pursuing a career in Customer Service and:
• Have completed high school or possess a combination of relevant experience; 3+ years of retail sales experience in a supervisory capacity, particularly within the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is preferred.
• Possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and collaborate with team members.
• Are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive for excellence in your work.
• Have experience in C-Store/Gas Bar operations and familiarity with general merchandise.
• Pay attention to detail and demonstrate strong cash management abilities.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective planning capabilities, and excellent time management.
• Have Point of Sale experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Are available for travel within the trading area to attend seminars, meetings, training programs, and other events.
• Can organize and manage your own work and that of others, supervising and delegating tasks effectively.
• Are capable of fulfilling the physical demands of the job, including manual labor.
• Have a flexible work schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Are willing to obtain necessary certifications.
