Part-time Gym Receptionist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Gym Receptionist. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests enthusiastically to create a positive atmosphere
  • Resolve customer inquiries professionally and thoroughly via phone, email, and in-person encounters
  • Monitor member check-ins and ensure all policies and processes are followed
  • Direct guests and appointments to the appropriate employee or department
  • Process point of sale items, such as retail and concession sales
  • Check in members and guests using proper registration procedures
  • Distribute membership cards, parking decals, towels, and other materials as needed
Requirements
  • Service-driven attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • High school diploma required
  • Valid First Aid certification an asset
  • Fluent in English; ability to speak other languages an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cash handling and previous experience with POS terminals
  • Ability to work alone and in groups
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Compensation

$17.40 per hour
