Material & Logistics Planner

We're seeking a Material & Logistics Planner to oversee the delivery of materials and parts for production, ensuring timely delivery and minimal inventory using just-in-time principles.

As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with suppliers, internal customers, and cross-functional teams to plan, release, and track materials and parts. Your expertise will be essential in meeting production schedules and optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and follow up on parts delivery to meet production schedules
  • Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to find creative solutions and avoid production disruptions
  • Analyze and implement strategies to meet just-in-time objectives
  • Manage commercial relationships with suppliers and negotiate in the best interest of the company
  • Identify and coordinate areas of improvement in line with team objectives
  • Establish recovery plans with suppliers and communicate with them as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, or a related field, or DEC in administration or a related field with 18 to 36 months of experience
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English (4⁄5) to communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
  • Ability to travel when necessary
  • Autonomy and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
  • Team player with solid priority management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and negotiation abilities
