About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our team at TC Energy. As a key member of our Pipe Integrity Department, you will play a critical role in providing technical services to support safe and effective pipeline integrity maintenance decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed technical engineering assessments to evaluate pipeline integrity information and determine fitness for service
  • Review and analyze data to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with business units to understand and address their needs, providing technical direction and advice as required
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with TC Energy procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Support technical SMEs with data gathering, analysis, and reporting
Requirements
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialty in Mechanical or Civil engineering
  • Licensed Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in pipeline integrity, project management, risk and reliability, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Canadian and US pipeline regulations
  • Experience in audit, assurance, and regulatory engagements
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
