Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline Integrity Specialist to join our team at 1001 TransCanada PipeLines Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the development and implementation of our Damage Prevention Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of damage prevention activities, including third-party damage incidents, unauthorized activities, right-of-way brushing, one-calls, and support for right-of-way field activities.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and implement short- and long-term plans for ongoing improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to damage prevention.
  • Provide technical leadership in engineering analysis and risk mitigation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and students.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to prevent incidents.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of related engineering or engineering technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Diploma in Engineering Technology.
  • Candidates with a Certified Engineering Technologist or Professional experience in Pipeline Integrity, Project Management, and/or Damage Prevention roles.
  • Experience in audit, assurance, and regulatory engagements.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review.
  • Overnight travel for meetings and field visits may be required (up to 10%).
