Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Provide resident care and services, including communication support, medication administration, and mobility assistance.
  • Support resident comfort and well-being through ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, as well as oral and dental care.

Requirements:

  • Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution or an Internationally Educated Nurse with a degree in Nursing.
  • Detailed-oriented and proficient in procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatment and providing bedside care.
  • Exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families, and general visitors.
