About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Communications Specialist to join our Magna Finance Continuous Improvement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting initiatives that increase employee adoption through the shaping of strategic plans and support of various change management initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how people go through a change and the commitment process, as well as knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. They will be able to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, establish and maintain strong relationships, and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Change Management Strategies: Understand and articulate requirements to engage a wide range of stakeholders through technology, process, and behavioral changes.
  • Support Strategic Planning and Execution: Participate in the creation of strategies to support the change effort, including recommendations for change-related approaches, activities, and deliverables.
  • Conduct Impact Analyses and Mitigation Tactics: Conduct impact analyses to understand the change journey, identifying potential resistance and mitigation tactics.
  • Evaluate Change Readiness and Reporting: Support the evaluation of method and cadence for assessing and reporting out change readiness at various stages throughout a project.
  • Develop Communications and Content Strategies: Support the development of a communications and content development system that caters to various transformation project work streams.
  • Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and manage stakeholder lists and understand how to tailor and target messaging by stakeholder group.
  • Facilitate Training and Development: Provide input, document requirements, create strategies, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Integrate Change Management Activities: Integrate change management activities into project plans, tracking completion of all agreed-upon OCM deliverables and key activities.
  • Define and Measure Success Metrics: Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree: Diploma or degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Change Management Certification: Change management certification or designation desired.
  • Minimum 3 Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in organizational change management or internal marketing and/or communications.

  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to Work in Ambiguous Situations: Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Automotive and Technology Business Acumen: Automotive and technology business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Proficient in Project Management Tools: Proficient in project management tools and technologies, including the MS365 suite of products.
