Reporting to the Superintendent, the GeoExchange Installer will be responsible for performing daily installation duties in the process of drilling GeoExchange and geothermal installations.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Support Drillers with grouting operations and drilling operations.
  • Operating support and pertaining GeoExchange equipment ( grouter, tremie/loop reel, etc)
  • U-Bend Installations – install geo loops into boreholes using a de-spooler.
  • Setup and maintain hose lines and water connections.
  • Flow and Pressure testing of lines.
  • Countersinking.
  • Prepare and clean up drilling sites.
  • Inventory management and data entry of QA/QC information.
  • Multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g., load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment, and construction materials; move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas).
  • Carry out manual labour duties such lifting and working with materials weighing up to 25kg.
  • Work in all weather conditions and environments.
  • Maintain personal and group safety at all times, and exercise appropriate caution when working with tension for rigging, on or close to energized equipment
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience is considered an asset.
  • Capacity for manual dexterity with physical strength and stamina.
  • Skill to work both independently staying productive under minimal supervision and with others as a member of a team.
  • Energy to use stairs, ladders, and climb over rough terrain.
  • Capability to work long hours per day in all weather conditions.
  • Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
  • Metatarsal guarded steel toed CSA rubber boots required.
  • Required Tickets: MOL 4 Step Safety Awareness, Ontario Working at Heights, Valid Drivers License
  • Preferred (but not required) Tickets:
    • H2S Alive
    • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
    • Earth loop technician
    • Ground Disturbance Level II
    • Skidsteer Certification
    • Telehandler Certification
