We seek a motivated and self-driven Commission-Only Sales Representative to join our growing team. This B2B-focused position involves calling on HVAC contractors in an assigned region. We aim to train our team to help contractors and homeowners transition to efficient heating and cooling solutions. This role is commission-based, offering uncapped earning potential for those who excel in sales.

The successful candidate will receive unique training and mentorship in the fast-growing GeoExchange technology, gaining insights and expertise unavailable elsewhere.

Though we expect a successful candidate to cold call and generate leads, our business invests in online and traditional marketing channels and will provide you tools and resources to help you generate sales.


Training Program:

At Evolved Thermal Energy, we understand the importance of specialized knowledge in selling geothermal, air-to-water, and air-to-air heat pump systems and hydronic products.

To ensure our sales representatives are well-equipped, we offer a comprehensive training program that includes:

Product Knowledge Training:

Detailed sessions on the features, benefits, and technical specifications of geothermal, air-to-water, and air-to-air heat pump systems and hydronic products.

Hands-on training with our products to understand installation and operational procedures.
Training on effective sales strategies tailored to the HVAC and renewable energy markets.
Role-playing scenarios to practice sales pitches, objection handling, and closing techniques.

Customer Relationship Management:
Techniques for building and maintaining strong, ethical customer relationships.
Accompanying experienced sales representatives on customer visits and sales calls.
Real-world practice with generating leads, conducting presentations and closing sales.
Develop and maintain lasting, equitable customer relationships to maximize profitable sales by delivering exceptional value to the customer.
Within your region, visit customer offices, shops, and job sites to assess their needs and generate and close profitable sales
Prospect and identify new customers, collaborating with the sales manager and credit team
Lead and own the sales process, including producing sales call reports, territory planning, and setting growth targets
Analyze customer data and develop strategies to grow market share while meeting and exceeding targets
Process orders, quotes, and other sales functions as required
Work with the sales manager and credit team to facilitate payment of accounts receivable and communicate changes in the customer's business
Participate in consumer events, trade shows, and industry conventions
Post-secondary/Technical Trade or College and/or university degree
A minimum of 1 year(s) experience in sales in HVAC or a similar field.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and own vehicle.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
A thirst for knowledge and passion for sales
Excellent relationship-building skills.
