Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals, following proper food handling techniques and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with food preparation, including cooking, baking, and plating.
- Support the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning equipment and utensils.
- Interact with residents, responding to their needs and preferences, and providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless meal service and high-quality food presentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special events and catering.
- Current Safe Food Handler's Certificate.
- Ability to operate institutional cooking equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, and food processors.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
