Commercial Lines Underwriter

We're seeking a skilled Underwriter I or II, Commercial Lines to contribute to our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders
- Analyze and evaluate complex risks to provide accurate underwriting recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve department processes and efficiency
- Provide technical advice and mentoring to team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or relevant experience
- Minimum 1-3 years underwriting experience
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to handle complex risks and negotiate with clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
