Mercer is seeking a Sales Professional to join our team in Toronto or Montreal office. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities with prospective and current customers in the small market segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities with prospective and current customers in the small market segment.
  • Develop and implement a national sales plan to achieve sales goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior-level individuals and decision-makers to promote Mercer's exclusive Simple select by Mercer Marsh BenefitsSM solution.
  • Collaborate with the SME Team and National Growth Team to identify new revenue opportunities and develop business with employers under 100 employees.
  • Develop and deliver effective proposals that articulate a compelling value proposition and demonstrate the unique value of Mercer's solutions.
Requirements:
  • 0 to 5 years of Business Development experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under stress.
  • Persuasive, driven, goal-oriented, and motivated.
