Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager and leading store operations to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales Growth
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit goals, manage budgets, and analyze sales and financial reports to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Lead Store Operations
Create operational plans, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to store managers and associates to ensure optimal store conditions, effective merchandise presentation, and accurate pricing.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction
Develop and implement customer service strategies to create a positive shopping experience, resolve customer complaints, and provide feedback to associates.
- Manage Store Assets
Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop Associates
Lead and develop associates through regular store meetings, coaching, and training to improve their skills and capabilities.
- Comply with Company Standards
Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures for handling merchandise, cash handling, and other store operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
