Your Contribution:

The Department Manager serves as a representative of the company, leading and inspiring the team under their supervision. They play a crucial role in achieving store and company goals, enhancing processes, and resolving challenges. Ensuring that customers receive outstanding service in a pleasant and safe shopping environment is a top priority.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tasks based on established priorities and company standards
  • Address any issues that arise while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Execute merchandising tasks as directed by the Store Manager
  • Supervise the restocking process
  • Manage promotional initiatives in line with sales
  • Assist in the recruitment of staff for the department
  • Establish work schedules while adhering to the labor budget and fulfilling customer needs
  • Coach, motivate, and support team members
  • Provide ongoing feedback to employees regarding their performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Engage in performance evaluations and employee training, ensuring follow-up as needed
  • Adhere to store policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and workplace health and safety

Qualifications:

If you are driven by sales and customer service, have a passion for team leadership and development, and can make sound decisions when prioritizing tasks, you may be a great fit for this role. Previous experience in a similar position is considered an asset.
