Your Contribution:
The Department Manager serves as a representative of the Company to the team they oversee. They inspire, lead, instruct, and train the employees under their management. They play a crucial role in achieving store and Company goals, enhancing processes, and resolving issues. They also ensure that all customers receive outstanding service and can shop in a welcoming and safe environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee tasks based on established priorities and Company standards
- Address any issues that arise while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Execute merchandising responsibilities as directed by the Store Manager
- Supervise the restocking process
- Manage promotional initiatives in line with sales
- Assist in the recruitment of staff for the department
- Establish work schedules while adhering to the designated labor budget and meeting customer needs
- Coach, motivate, and encourage team members
- Provide ongoing support to employees regarding work performance and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Engage in the performance evaluation process and employee training, following up as needed
- Adhere to store policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and workplace health and safety
Qualifications:
Are you driven by sales and customer service? Do you have a passion for team leadership and development, and can you make sound judgments when prioritizing tasks? If so, you possess the qualities needed to be part of our organization. Previous experience is advantageous.
