About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Member to join our Delivery Support team at RONA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our front-line teams are trained to meet the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Frontend Staff: Ensure that our frontend staff are providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Oversee Register Coverage and Store Supply Usage: Monitor and manage the use of registers and store supplies to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide Refunds and Monitor Cash Drawer Amounts: Process refunds and monitor cash drawer amounts to ensure that our store's financial transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Perform Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure that our store is properly opened and closed each day, including tasks such as counting cash and inventory.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Assist customers with their queries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Understand, Train and Promote Company Programs and Initiatives: Understand and promote our company's programs and initiatives, such as Pro, RPP, financing, survey, and fundraising.
  • Train and Mentor New Associates: Train and mentor new associates to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Other Related Tasks: Perform other related tasks as required to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • 1 Year of Retail Experience: We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • 1 Year of Experience in Team Supervision: We require a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in team supervision.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: We are looking for a candidate with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: We require a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: We are looking for a candidate with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
