Your Contribution:
The Department Manager serves as a representative of the company, leading and motivating the team under their guidance. They play a crucial role in achieving store and company goals, enhancing processes, and resolving issues. Ensuring that customers receive outstanding service in a pleasant and safe shopping environment is a top priority.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee tasks according to established priorities and company standards
- Address any challenges that arise while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Execute merchandising responsibilities as directed by the Store Manager
- Supervise the restocking process
- Manage promotional efforts based on sales trends
- Assist in the recruitment of staff for the department
- Develop work schedules that align with the labor budget while meeting customer demands
- Coach and inspire team members
- Provide ongoing feedback to employees regarding their performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Engage in the performance evaluation process and employee training, ensuring follow-up as needed
- Adhere to store policies regarding loss prevention and workplace health and safety
Qualifications:
If you are motivated by sales and customer service, passionate about team leadership and development, and capable of exercising sound judgment in prioritizing tasks, you may be an ideal fit for this role. Previous experience in a similar position is considered an asset.
