ATCO Frontec is seeking an on-site Junior Project Manager/ Project Coordinator to join our team in Yukon.

What you get to do:

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external safety requirements
  • Oversee site work as required to verify compliance with SOW
  • Schedule work of various trades on while balancing 'time and space' requirements
  • Formulate and manage multiple small project schedules concurrently
  • Plan logistics requirements for movement of material and personnel.
  • Participate in the bidding / tender process
  • Write progress reports for both internal and external clients
  • Formulate and approve invoices to client
  • Vet and approve vendor invoices
  • Track project expenditures against project budget
  • Negotiate small subcontracts and POs
  • Ensure compliance with project documentation and drawings
  • Travel Required

Who you are:

  • Education in a technical / engineering field (Technologist / Engineer) in mechanical, civil or architectural or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in the North an asset
  • Familiar / skilled with MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Skilled communicator comfortable having regular interactions with external clients as well as internal stakeholders
  • Experience with CMMS and pulling reports / data from accounting software an asset
  • Experience with scheduling tools in addition to Project an asset
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, often conflicting priorities with a positive and a mindset focused on growth and continuous learning.
