About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Colliers Project Leaders. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading capital projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to deliver projects that meet client expectations and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, issues, and risks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in capital project management.
  • University degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or construction management (or equivalent).
  • Advanced understanding of project management methodologies and experience working in a PMO environment.
  • Familiarity with building codes, contracts, and regulations, construction administration, and ethics.
  • Deep knowledge of various design and construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management, contract law, and relevant legislation.
  • Effective client and people management skills, matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of commercial, people, client, and technical issues.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build harmonious relationships with both internal and external members of the project team.
  • Preference for candidates with demonstrated experience working respectfully in cross-cultural settings, including building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities.
