Bakery Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Bakery on Mavis. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Bake mixed dough and batters to meet established quality standards
- Prepare special orders and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
