Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages portfolio of customers in US & Canada, responsible for due diligence and assessing creditworthiness of new and existing customers to mitigate credit risk
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis , i dentifying early warning signs of potential default and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Manages legal portfolio for all customers in US & Canada, assist other analysts in navigating legal accounts and placing for third party collections
  • Provides expertise in leasing, inventory financing, collateral, Canadian & US Tax, bankruptcy, and preference law
  • Works closely with internal departments, including sales, legal, and sales operations to facilitate approach to credit decision-making
  • Prepares quarterly financial updates on credit portfolio performance, and industry trends
  • Directs involvement with customer collection efforts when escalation is required
  • Manages refunds, tax credit, KYC, and AML compliance requirements
  • Responsible to optimize business processes through automation
  • Manages 3rd party Credit Vendor contracts and payments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis with a proven track record of success in a senior analyst role required
  • Advanced skills in financial statement analysis and evaluation of credit dynamics required
  • Negotiation experience with risk mitigation instruments and documentation preferred
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel skills, and experience with credit analysis software and tools preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound credit decisions required
  • Knowledge of Credit Insurance preferred
  • Knowledge of Order to Cash Processes required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively required
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work required
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales teams and in a team-oriented environment required
  • In-depth knowledge of credit-related laws, regulations, and best practices preferred
  • SAP S4 HANA, BW and Power BI reporting experience strongly preferred
  • Process Automation and AI experience strongly preferred
