Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Process all purchase transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restocking shelves and ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail sales experience an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. business, marketing).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
