About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at The Sherwin-Williams Company. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their needs, answering product-related questions, and making recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively merchandising products, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and promoting products to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, receive and process shipments, and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a safe and clean store environment, adhere to company policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Legally Authorized to Work: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move merchandise as needed.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in French.
  • Previous Experience: Previous retail sales experience is preferred, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a retail sales or customer service role is preferred.
  • Product Knowledge: Knowledge of paint and related products is preferred.
  • Equipment Operation: Experience operating equipment such as paint mixers and dispensers is preferred.
