**Job Summary**

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including store policies and procedures.
  • Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced retail environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
  • Bend, twist, and squat to perform tasks such as restocking shelves and facing merchandise.
  • Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.) to perform tasks such as restocking shelves and handling merchandise.
  • Perform tasks involving firm grasping, such as handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions, such as processing transactions and handling merchandise.
