Job Description:

We are seeking a results-oriented Territory Manager, with an understanding of laboratory settings, to drive business growth in the Greater Toronto Area. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with laboratory professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and business objectives within your territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in research laboratories.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Visit laboratory sites regularly to understand their specific needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development) to align sales strategies and address customer requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform management.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
  • Efficiently manage the territory budget and allocate resources effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in sales, with experience in the research laboratory sector preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM software.
