Job Summary

The Industry Account Manager – Pharma Quality Control role at bioMérieux is a key position responsible for maintaining and growing the current microbiology customer base, as well as creating new business opportunities through the placement of instruments and reagents. This role requires a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annualized sales objectives for equipment, reagents, and service.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to ensure timely closes and accurate forecasting, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Optimize territory management by maintaining a sufficient number of customer visits, documenting all relevant activities and information in CRM 360.
  • Increase penetration within existing accounts through commercial and relationship development.
  • Stay up-to-date on sales skills, product knowledge, and customer needs by collaborating with sales management, marketing, and experienced sales representatives.
  • Ensure the CRM tool is updated daily with relevant information, including opportunities, product dates, and competitive assets.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and provide technical expertise as required.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business or Science.
  • Microbiology knowledge and/or Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance experience preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in capital sale equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French required.
  • Excellent sales skills, analytical abilities, and presentation skills to all levels of decision-makers.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple opportunities, and influence stakeholders.
