About the Role

O2E Brands Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a crucial role in processing accounts receivable from our franchises.

We are an exciting, fast-growing group of home services franchises, and the parent company of the successful 1-800-GOT-JUNK?. Our hybrid work model allows us to collaborate, celebrate, and connect while enjoying the flexibility of working where it makes sense for you. For this role, we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts receivable, including invoices, royalty statements, and verification files.
  • Process EFT transactions for accounts receivable in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collect information and generate customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly accounts receivable aging statements and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of working papers related to accounts receivable transactions.
  • Follow up on delinquent payments and address internal and external stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with additional month-end and year-end tasks as required.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of full-cycled accounting or accounts receivable related experience.
  • General knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy on a consistent basis.
  • Professional written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
  • Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or multi-currency is an asset.
What We Offer
  • Salary $47,000 to $57,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
