We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maximizing cash flow and minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overdue balances.
Key Responsibilities- Control and manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
- Coordinate communication with Branch Managers and Department Managers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external customers through regular communication and issue resolution.
- Perform general accounting responsibilities, including ensuring accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures.
- Develop and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Resolve complex issues, such as invoice disputes, in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to drive business growth and success.
- Assist with reconciliations and matching customer accounts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the AR policy and internal working instructions.
- Provide support to management with queries regarding business health and trends.
- Post-Secondary Education in Business or Credit, or a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1+ years of experience in Credit and Collections functions.
- High level of competence in Excel, including pivot tables.
- Strong operational knowledge of MS Office.
