Restaurant Manager Job Description

A&W Restaurants in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our Bay Centre Food Court location, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality customer experiences, adherence to A&W standards, and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and lead a motivated team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee growth and development.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to drive restaurant profitability.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive sales growth.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the food industry, with supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Expertise in restaurant operations, including knowledge of A&W standards and operating systems.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and drive cost control.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to give presentations and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
