Responsibilities


Program Design & Delivery

  • Design and execute talent management strategies aligned with business needs and goals.
  • Design and develop annual talent programs to support leaders and employees including annual performance cycle, succession planning and performance management.
  • Contribute to a learning organization through talent programs including 360 feedback, mentoring, leader as coach and culture initiatives.
  • Develop career frameworks to support internal mobility and career development.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to enhance their career development and growth.
  • Partner with other P&C departments on initiatives to enhance employee engagement and strengthen company culture.
  • Execute programs and initiatives that accelerate productivity and integration of new employees.
  • Design and deliver training programs in support of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging (DIEB).
  • Design and develop talent programs to strengthen core competencies needed for the future.
  • Utilize Talent Management software (TMS) to track employee performance and capture feedback.


Leadership and Team Effectiveness

  • Design, develop and facilitate leadership development programs to prepare high-potential (HIPO) employees for future leadership roles.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training and workshops.
  • Design, develop and facilitate programs that strengthen leadership and team effectiveness.
  • Optimize succession planning processes and create strong linkage with talent development.
  • Support HRBPs with the effective execution of talent reviews (9 box) to inform quality people decisions.
  • Support the creation and sustainment of development plans for succession candidates.
  • Identify HIPO development opportunities and provide solutions that accelerate top talent growth.
  • Administer and facilitate DISC individual and team sessions to increase personal, leadership and team effectiveness.
  • Support HRBP and leaders in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
  • Utilize Talent Management software (TMS) to identify succession candidates and house development plans.


Research, Analytics & Technology

  • Leverage industry trends and best practices to inform creating, implementing and evolving Trimac talent programs
  • Assess Talent data to identify critical gaps requiring action to provide Trimac leadership continuity.
  • Research, implement and manage software to improve Talent Management processes and the employee experience
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of Talent Management software, and integration with other systems as required.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access rights within Talent Management software
  • Work with the Talent software vendors to troubleshoot issues and request enhancements.
  • Track and report on key Talent metrics to make wise talent decisions and investments.
  • Assess effectiveness of Talent programs through a variety of feedback mechanisms to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support performance frameworks (i.e. KPIs, balanced scorecards) to align individual and team goals with organization objectives and business results.


Project, Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and manage multiple Talent projects and programs simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts on the design and approach to talent programs to ensure success.
  • Develop project plan and timelines to monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership to ensure talent programs are aligned with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management vendors to ensure the software meets Trimac needs and resolve any issues promptly.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Education, Human Resources, Adult Learning or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Talent Management or HR.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in Talent program design, execution and facilitation required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proficiency in talent management software and tools preferred.
  • Previous people leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, Diversity, Belonging (DIEB) and Accessibility are considered an asset.
  • Extended DISC certification is considered an asset.
