What We'll Love About You:
Your role as a Product Quality Control Specialist will be crucial in ensuring the high standard of our products. With your keen eye for detail, you'll monitor data quality across various projects, maintaining consistency and repeatability. Proactively identifying and addressing any quality concerns, you'll collaborate closely with project managers and clients, effectively communicating procedures and addressing any concerns that arise. Your commitment to continuous improvement will shine through as you identify areas for refinement in our QA/QC procedures, ensuring ongoing excellence. Additionally, your dedication to upholding our stringent quality standards will ensure that new and redeployed units meet our expectations, further enhancing our product quality.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor data quality across all projects, ensuring early detection of any quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures throughout the organization.
- Conduct quality assurance and control tests on new units.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the quality and repeatability of data and products.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in data quality management across multiple projects.
- Proficiency in implementing and enforcing QA/QC procedures.
- Experience with Python programming is considered an asset.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive quality assurance and control tests.
- Strong collaboration skills, fostering productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and the ability to utilize other software packages as relevant, E.g. Site Docs.
- Experience working in the mining industry is considered an asset.
