In this key HR leadership role, you will skillfully guide a team of HR Analysts by providing them with expert coaching and advice as they navigate investigations and employee relations in a large, unionized environment.

Senior Human Resources Manager Responsibilities

  1. Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the human resources department.
  2. Provide coaching, development, support, and direction to the human resources team.
  3. Bridge management and employee relations for unionized and non-unionized employees by addressing grievances, arbitrations or other issues.
  4. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and provincial requirements.
  5. Develop strong partnerships with all levels of internal and external business associates.
  6. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
Senior Human Resources Manager Qualifications

  1. 5 years of experience driving results in the labour relations and/or human resources field.
  2. Proven record of leading and managing a team of direct reports.
  3. Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a similar field.
  4. Excellent communication skills at the presentation level; must be able to convey information in a compelling and organized manner.
Other Details

  1. Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM.
  2. Onsite, must be able to travel between North York and Mississauga’s offices.
