Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Building Automation Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving sales growth in the field of building automation systems. Your expertise in building automation, strong communication skills, and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences will contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the building automation sector, including commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
  2. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by actively engaging with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
  3. Conduct thorough needs assessments and gather client requirements to propose tailored building automation solutions that align with their objectives.
  4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to key decision-makers, highlighting the value and benefits of our solutions.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, project managers, and technical support, to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  6. Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with clients, adhering to company guidelines and profitability targets.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities to identify potential opportunities and differentiate our offerings.
  8. Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives within assigned territories.
  9. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire sales process and beyond.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building automation or related industry.
  3. Strong understanding of building automation systems, energy management, HVAC, lighting controls, and related technologies.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  5. Proactive and self-motivated individual with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  7. Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
  8. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
