As this is a new and developing role within our Lease Department, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy in growing our book of business and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Lease Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial leasing opportunities within the Calgary area, offering exceptional customer service and tailored solutions to new and existing business accounts.

Detailed responsibilities include:

  1. Identify and pursue new leasing business opportunities that will generate future sales and repeat business through site visits, cold calling, and networking.
  2. Promote business and execute on sales, preferably selling out of one of our 13 dealerships across the Davis Auto Group.
  3. Offer detailed product information, pricing quotes, and credit terms to facilitate sales transactions.
  4. Present and encourage the purchase of insurance, warranty, protection packages, and maintenance plans.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, including after-sales support.
  6. Ensure efficient coordination of dealer transfers and vehicle deliveries to customers, on and offsite, including paperwork and licensing.
  7. Conduct market research and stay up to date on various OEM product knowledge.
  8. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interaction within the CRM.
  9. Collaborate with the sales departments and Davis Capital Leasing to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Who is Our Ideal Candidate?

  1. You have proven experience in outside sales and business development within the automotive industry with a proven track record of success. Preference may be given to those who also have experience selling and presenting warranties, protection packages, insurance, etc.
  2. You have a strong connection within Calgary and the surrounding area and/or local commercial sector.
  3. You are driven with a high degree of resiliency – you are motivated by exceeding targets and seeing results and have a strong sense of personal achievement.
  4. Your superior customer experience skills are highly sought after – building quick rapport and turning connections into long-term sustainable relationships is a true talent of yours.
  5. You are versatile and knowledgeable in various OEM brands, and open to learning and staying up to date on new product knowledge.
  6. You have strong organizational and time management skills – utilizing all tools such as the CRM, calendar, and more are your go-to in staying on top of everything.
  7. You are a collaborative team player committed to achieving collective goals and contributing to the success of the Lease Portfolio across the Davis Group.
  8. You possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
