Construction Insurance Management Inc. (EllisDon Group of Companies) is a full-service Commercial Insurance Brokers Office licensed across Canada and works very closely with EllisDon’s internal Insurance Department on a daily basis, providing broker service and technical insurance expertise to EllisDon and their clients.

As well as being EllisDon’s Insurance Broker and advisor, we have other clients, some who are sub-trades and past clients of EllisDon.

You as a Senior Account Manager at CIMI will work exclusively on the EllisDon Account:

  • Provide Team Office support where needed.
  • Execution of Certificates, Binders, Policies and Endorsements.
  • Obtain Quotes as required.
  • Processing and Communication of Policy documents.
  • Conduct Tender and Policy Reviews.
  • Invoicing and Premium Allocation.
  • Maintain good market relationships.
  • Ensure Brokerage File Compliance.
  • Participate in selected Industry events as a CIMI representative.
  • Promote and Increase the profile of CIMI both internally and externally.

Is this the right role for you?

  • RIBO licensed with up to date continuing education – Min 10+ years.
  • Knowledge of Construction, CCDC Contracts.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Tam (Applied systems) or similar industry systems.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Prompt and Professional.
  • Strong Initiative and follow up skills.
  • In-office Position.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (written and oral).
