As a Senior Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships while driving revenue growth. This is a high-impact position where you’ll leverage your extensive telco network and SDK expertise to promote Kindred’s solutions across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, develop, and maintain high-value relationships with mobile carriers, app developers, and ecosystem partners.
- SDK Advocacy: Champion Kindred’s SDK, showcasing its unique value to potential partners in telecommunications and app development.
- Sales Leadership: Lead the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, solution presentation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Industry Networking: Use your established network to create strategic collaborations in the telco and app development sectors.
- Market Expansion: Design and execute go-to-market strategies to align with regional market demands.
- Product Alignment: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure SDK features meet industry needs and client expectations.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze market trends and client feedback to refine business strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, aligning objectives and deliverables.
Required Experience
- Professional Background: 5+ years in business development or sales within carrier or app ecosystems, with a focus on SDK solutions.
- Network Strength: Established connections within the Americas telco industry and app development community.
- SDK Expertise: Proven ability to sell and implement SDKs, with technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Sales Success: Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills with a record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Industry Insight: In-depth knowledge of telco operations, SDK applications, and emerging trends.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication capabilities to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel to engage with partners and clients as needed.
