Salary
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a matching retirement plan.
Job Description
The Senior Director of Global Business Expansion will be responsible for leading the growth strategy of Buckland through the identification, cultivation, and expansion of new business opportunities. This key leadership role will focus on expanding market share, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing our customer experience, while ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales, marketing plans, and pricing strategies to meet and exceed revenue and sales targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and market positioning in North America.
- Lead the Business Development team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting continuous learning and growth.
- Oversee budgets for business development department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Provide monthly reports and insights to senior leaders and the Executive Leadership Team on the performance of the business development department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study.
- Postgraduate or Professional designation is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a senior leadership role within the Customs Brokerage and/or Logistics industry or service industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.
- Strong understanding of sales, service, and marketing principles, inclusive of client onboarding, client retention, and client loyalty initiatives.

You are a results-driven leader with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion. You have a strong understanding of sales, service, and marketing principles, and are able to develop and execute comprehensive plans to meet and exceed revenue and sales targets.
