The successful candidate will be an expert multitasker with exceptional communication and customer service skills. This is a hybrid position based out of our downtown Toronto office.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft correspondence about new investment opportunities and portfolio company business updates to existing and prospective investors.
  • Create and update presentation decks and other materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate schedules with external and internal participants along with logistics for meetings, conferences, and other related events.
  • Track and process information requests from existing and prospective clients, organize and maintain databases.
  • Provide full administrative support to the Partner & Managing Director.
  • Work on streamlining and improving processes.
  • Assist in creating outreach campaigns and strategies to attract new clients.
  • Update and track existing and prospective investor information in the CRM system (Salesforce).
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Venture Capital fund, Private Equity firm, or other Financial Role.
  • B.A. in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Technology/ Engineering.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for technology.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Previous sales experience - an advantage.
  • Previous administrative experience - an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, with excellent PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs – an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Reliable and efficient team player with outstanding client service skills.
