Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Administrative Assistant at CI Assante Wealth Management located in North York, ON. The Financial Administrative Assistant will be responsible for administrative processes and providing overall administrative assistance to a single financial advisor.


Job Description

This highly motivated individual will be responsible for financial administrative and customer service support, to a Wealth Management Advisor and high net worth clients.


Main Duties

. Working closely with the advisor by providing client service and administrative duties

. Preparing a substantial amount of paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and completeness

. Review and prepare financial (deposits, switches, transfers, redemptions and etc.) and non- financial (change of beneficiary, banking, address, name ect.)

. Processing changes in PAC and SWP

. Mailing of client reports

. Interact positively with clients while proactively anticipating and meeting client’s needs and questions.

. Communicate concisely and courteously with clients, advisors, co-workers and back office.


Qualifications

• Minimum 3 full years of prior experience in a similar role at a financial services firm.

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, and mature attitude.

• Strong writing skills. Ability to create concise, clear and grammatically correct correspondence.

• Keen eye for accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.

• Very good working knowledge of Excel and Word and have had experience with related industry systems.

• Professional, well presented, with a strong customer service focus.

• Exceptional administrative, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Proven self starter who takes initiative and works with integrity.

. Experience with Salesforce, Navigator

. IFIC or CSC is an advantage but not necessary.
