PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


This role will be focused on the development and delivery of technical, compliance and soft skills learning programs in accordance with business needs.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTABILITIES


Program Delivery


  • Facilitate and deliver training activities, including induction programs, product up-skills and soft skills in an engaging, targeted and thought-provoking style that supports learner motivation and meet business needs.
  • Facilitate learning programs that support capability uplift using best practice facilitation techniques and meeting business and compliance requirements
  • Support and contribute to the Career Development Pathways within the business, focused on helping facilitate and track individual activities as well as supporting leaders to do the same for their teams.
  • Enhance current practices, processes and training materials centric to Care & Support
  • Present information in a persuasive manner and adapt communication style based on the people involved and the targeted objectives of the learning intervention.
  • Prepare resources and/or obtain training aids (as required) to support the learning activities
  • Identify and develop opportunities that may assist in enhancing the learning outcomes from activities and courses.
  • Delivery of ad hoc learning programs and courses at the direction of the Director of Onboarding & Training.


Design and Development of Learning Interventions


  • Design of learning interventions (including eLearning) required to meet business needs across technical and soft skill portfolios.
  • Design program collateral including facilitator materials, learner workbooks, activities and tools (where required) to support in the delivery and embedding of learning interventions.
  • Work closely with the Director of Onboarding and Coaching to ensure training documents & supporting materials are frequently audited for accuracy and relevancy.
  • Amend and revise activities as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment.
  • Actively seek feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance programs during and post-training events


Administration


  • Updating of participant attendance and completion of programs and courses.
  • Updating of calendars as required with planned training and learning events.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations as necessary for the purpose of supporting stakeholders and business needs.
  • Liaise with AU counterpart to ensure alignment on critical thinking path and Greenstone methodology.
  • In collaboration with the Compliance team ensure that CE credits program to support the licensing of Agents is managed smoothly and meets licensing requirements.


Position Requirements


Essential


  • Solid experience (in excess of 4 years) in the design and delivery of technical, and soft skills programs within a corporate environment – ideally one with a strong and high performing sales environment
  • Highly developed writing, presentation, facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Adult Learning and Instructional Design principles
  • Ability to deliver and maintain learner engagement through virtually delivered programs
  • Proven experience in working with stakeholders across all levels to deliver programs which meet business needs and show proven capability uplift
  • The ability to empower, engage and inspire course participants towards behaviour change.
  • Proven understanding of learning and development program and evaluation techniques and practices
  • Demonstrated capacity to relate to people from a broad range of environments and to ensure that the learning experience is effective and supports business requirements
  • The ability to remain flexible and adaptable as the business grows
  • Experience within a regulated financial services environment
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools
  • Experience within a Contact Centre environment


Desirable


  • LLQP qualified or experience in LLQP environment
  • RIBO qualified or experience in RIBO environment
  • LMS experience as a trainer or administrator
  • Worked in start-up business previously
