Our client, a global software company that specializes in financial software, is actively looking for a Bilingual Accounting Support Specialist to join their team in Toronto Their preference is for someone local to Toronto however may be open to remote candidates in Canada.


***This is a 1 year initial contract with the opportunity to extend and/or convert***


This role is responsible for the migration of Accountant clients onto a new company hosted cloud-based platform This will entail troubleshooting complex issues impacting the migration and customer experience. This person will work to resolve all escalated technical issues and verify customer satisfaction with the resolution.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the seamless onboarding of Partner Accountant new and existing clients onto company hosted cloud-platform, delivering an experience so profound that customers love using our products and services and actively recommend them to others
  • Supporting the Sales Team by providing consultative support to the Partner Accountants
  • Validate Salesforce account order and BDM submission
  • Act as a liaison between internal sales team and external custome
  • Create onboarding plan and communicate to relevant stakeholders and execute to timelines
  • Manage complex migrations and communicate internally & externally of progress against target
  • Work across multiple internal and external customers and raise any issues immediately
  • Communicate and introduce the Partner Accountant and/or clients to the Care Team for future support
  • Assume ‘post sale’ responsibility for account set up and confirmation of units sold
  • Identification of sales or growth opportunities and communication to Leadership team


Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience a plus
  • Must be bilingual in French and English, both verbal and written
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on accounting and/or accounting and financial operations experience is required
  • Experience or knowledge or Quickbooks is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
