We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Specialist to join our Account Processing team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance to our clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and support on all deposit products, including cheque deposits, Remote Deposit Capture, and Tangerine cheque clearing.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve complex customer transactions and issues related to customer transactions generated by various departments.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for internal and external clients on deposit products and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Account Processing team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the CBS Department.
- Education: University or College Degree is preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of related work experience, preferably in the banking industry.
- Skills: Solid understanding of the life cycle of all Deposit and Chequing products, including Garnishments. Proficiency in PC software – MS Office Suite. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Language: Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
