Role Overview

The primary responsibility of the Bilingual Client Support Specialist is to ensure the effective delivery of services to our clients. This role focuses on creating a positive client experience by addressing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. As the main point of contact, the Specialist is expected to deliver exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to enhance IFDS' offerings to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Specialist will manage daily customer service operations by:

  • Acting as the intermediary between IFDS and the advisor/dealer community representing our Fund Company clients.
  • Addressing a range of client inquiries and issues.
  • Handling multiple inbound and outbound communications via calls and emails.
  • Providing account and fund information, resolving issues, and overseeing reports and special projects.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of IFDS' services, products, policies, and procedures relevant to the role.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to fulfill client service requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a service-oriented environment with a strong client focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with shared objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to acquiring new knowledge.
  • Familiarity with financial mutual fund record-keeping is advantageous.

Working Conditions

The role involves various shifts, with operational hours extending from early morning to evening. Flexibility is essential to accommodate client commitments and high service volumes.
