The Director of Human Resources (HR) is a strategic partner within the organization, responsible for overseeing, managing and executing all aspects of the HR function. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. The Director of HR ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, fosters a positive work environment, and enhances employee engagement and performance.
Role Details:
Strategic HR Leadership:
·Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization’s business objectives.
·Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on HR-related matters.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
·Execute the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
·Develop and implement effective onboarding and training programs.
·Manage performance appraisal systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Employee Relations:
·Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
·Handle employee relations issues, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
·Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Compensation and Benefits:
·Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
·Conduct regular reviews and benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness.
·Oversee payroll and benefits administration.
Organizational Development:
·Lead initiatives to enhance organizational culture and employee development.
·Implement programs for leadership development, succession planning, and career growth.
·Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts within the organization.
HR Policies and Compliance:
·Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
·Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
·Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate HR-related risks.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
·Develop and track HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
·Provide regular reports to the executive team on HR activities and outcomes.
