As our Client's new Director of Employee Relations, you'll lead a talented team in navigating the complexities of employee relations, ensuring a workplace culture that's built on trust, empathy, and accountability.
Your Impact:- Lead investigations into employee conduct, promoting a respectful workplace and upholding our code of conduct.
- Build strategic relationships with industry peers, advocacy groups, and associations to stay ahead of trends and best practices.
- Analyze regulatory developments and emerging issues to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance to senior leaders on sensitive workplace issues, ensuring fair and compassionate resolutions.
- Develop and implement HR processes that proactively prevent misconduct and promote a high-performance culture.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, setting clear goals and providing constructive feedback to your team.
- 8+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, or employment law.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulations.
- Proven leadership experience in risk management and business strategy.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with outstanding communication skills.
