IT Helpdesk Technician
GTA/Kitchener/Waterloo – Full Time, Hybrid role
Position Summary
This is a hybrid role based around the Greater Toronto/Kitchener/Waterloo area. Primarily working from home but also able to travel to our office locations when needed. The successful candidate will provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff and customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical support of Hardware and Software
- Ticket creation, categorization, prioritization, and escalation
- Troubleshoot end-user issues with root cause analysis
- Managing IT contracts and renewals
- Supporting our SaaS operations working with senior IT Admins
- Install, configure, and support our hosted server environments
- Monitor and maintain system and network performance
- Performing after-hour system maintenance (lieu time awarded)
- Upholding company IT Security policies, governance, and compliance
Qualifications and Skills:
- College or University degree in Computer Science or related area of study
- 1+ year working with Windows Server
- Strong problem solving and technical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning
- Bonus: certifications in Microsoft Systems, or Azure
