We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join our team at Citi College of Canadian Careers. As a key member of our technical support group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance to our users.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other technical support analysts to identify and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions in a centralized database.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
