Project scope:
We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Consultant to provide expertise, consultative advice, and guidance on change management principles, methodologies, and tools. The successful candidate will develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and frameworks to ensure smooth adoption and successful implementation of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and consultative advice on change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and frameworks.
- Lead, develop, implement, and/or provide input on stakeholder assessments, engagement strategies, and resistance management.
- Develop sponsor roadmaps, communication plans, and training plans throughout the project lifecycle.
- Align change management activities with stakeholders to remove barriers, facilitate adoption, and contribute to problem-solving.
- Support senior leadership in fostering consensus among clients, partners, and stakeholders to align with the Ministry’s modernization strategy.
- Identify potential people-side risks and resistance points, developing plans to mitigate or address concerns.
- Provide strategies, methodologies, and tools to measure outcomes and success of change implementation and adoption.
- Develop continuous improvement plans based on change success assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
General Skills:
- Experience and knowledge of change management industry standards, best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Proven experience in developing communication plans, change management strategies, and training plans.
- Strong presentation and group facilitation skills, effective with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent conflict management, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Understanding of project management fundamentals and project lifecycle.
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to identify and assess change impacts on business processes and technology solutions to drive adoption.
- Experience leading medium to large transformational change projects.
- Skilled in applying structured change management approaches and methodologies for assigned initiatives.
- Proven track record in developing actionable change management plans, including communications, coaching, training, and resistance management activities.
- Ability to define and measure success metrics to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency related to changes.
- Experience managing the change management process and applying best practices to support projects or initiatives.
Soft Skills:
- Superior verbal and written communication skills to inform executive decision-making and report status to corporate governance bodies.
- Strong consulting skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to prioritize workload and implement solutions.
- Strong customer service orientation to meet client needs effectively.
- Team player with excellent multi-tasking abilities and a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
OPS & Healthcare Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a health or clinical context.
- Experience supporting stakeholder engagement activities in a healthcare context.
- Knowledge of privacy and security requirements of software development in a healthcare or clinical context.
