As a business, they prioritise inclusion and flexibility, creating an agile working environment that embraces diverse perspectives. TechNET-IT is excited to partner with this ambitious organisation to find a Senior Business Development Manager to expand their footprint in the eCommerce market.


The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with a background in eCommerce. You will be tasked with driving the growth of the company within the eCommerce space, leveraging your expertise to build partnerships, develop new market opportunities, and lead business development initiatives.

You will play a strategic leadership role in driving revenue growth, managing key relationships with eCommerce platforms, and overseeing business development efforts to expand the company’s reach in the online marketplace.


Key Responsibilities

  • eCommerce Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue and market share within the eCommerce sector. Identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and manage relationships with key players in the eCommerce ecosystem, including online platforms, marketplaces, and service providers. Negotiate strategic partnerships to maximise business potential.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research, focusing on trends in the eCommerce payments landscape. Use data to identify growth opportunities and optimise business strategies.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention: Design and oversee strategies for acquiring and retaining eCommerce clients, focusing on building long-term relationships and increasing brand loyalty. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Performance & Reporting: Manage budgets, create forecasts, and develop financial models to support growth initiatives. Regularly report progress and financial performance to senior management.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the eCommerce or online payments industry, with a proven record of driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated success in forming and managing eCommerce partnerships with key platforms or service providers.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce payment solutions, marketplace dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions and execute on growth strategies.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
