Overview:
Founded in 2003 in Vancouver, BC, OnRes is an All-in-One Hotel Management System that offers a complete hospitality management platform including a powerful PMS to streamline operations, provide contactless service, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing sales team at OnRes.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with potential clients in the lodging sector (small to mid-sized 'independent' hotels, motels etc), understanding their business needs, and offering tailored solutions that align with OnRes' products and services.
This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
This is an early stage hire which will have an opportunity for a green field territory, though initially and primarily targeting USA and Canada.
Candidates will go through a thorough application process where the top finalists will have to do their best to "pitch" OnRes in a role play.
OnRes maintains a "promote from within" philosophy - so while this may seem like a junior sales role initially, the successful candidate will hopefully evolve to Sales Manager and eventually above
Responsibilities:
● Manage a full outbound sales cycle, from prospecting to close
● Identify and define ideal customer profiles and schedule meetings with qualified key decision makers
● Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion (contacts / leads will mostly be provided)
● Define and execute territory strategies
● Demo prospective clients and uncover business solutions by asking qualifying questions
● Oversee sales opportunities and follow-ups accordingly
● Facilitate quotes and contracts to clients
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, accounts, and opportunities in the CRM system
● Ensure that all relevant information is documented, providing a comprehensive overview of each lead's status and potential
● Collaborate on sales forecasting to leadership team
● Achieve sales targets and outcomes within timeline
● Provide client feedback to internal teams
● Candidates may be required to meet in person including attending trade show, with prospects, or other company events
Minimum Qualifications:
● Previous experience in a closing sales role is required
● Previous experience in the hotel/hospitality industry (Ex. Front Desk at a Hotel, Hotel Software experience, etc.)
● Experienced in outbound prospecting techniques, tools, and processes
● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365 Products, and occasionally Google Docs
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working at startups
● Motivated and self-starter
● Thrive in an autonomous and fast-paced environment
Compensation:
● Monthly Base + Uncapped Commissions
● This is a hunting role, as opposed to farming - base is on the LOW side with focus on commissions
● Estimated annual salary is $70,000-$100,000 based on closing 5-10 deals per month with a 3-month ramp
● Hours are set by the candidate - though there are expectations for minimum number of calls, to minimum number of demos, to minimum number of closed deals - formula will be fair and achievable
● Upon completion of 3-month probationary period, the candidate will qualify for standard employment benefits
● Travel Expenses reimbursed or covered
